"Does anybody care about anybody else anymore?!?" asks Vön Öy lead singer Aurora Borealyxx. The band's new album and tour, the ominously-named 'Generation Sociopath', asks that exact question with every track.
"We didn't set out to make a concept album, but the ideas and inspirations we were gathering before and while in the studio were arriving in the same place. Social media has united the world and made it more divided than ever, all at the same time. Robots are already starting to take over our lives, but does it matter when we've basically turned into emotional robots ourselves - our 'empathy software' deleted from our systems? Sheesh... we might need to either go to Disneyland or write a children's album to decompress after this!"
