antidisestablishmentarianism
[an-tee-dis-uh-stab-lish-muhn-tair-ee-uh-niz-uhm]
1. opposition to the withdrawal of state support or recognition from an established church, especially the Anglican Church in 19th-century England.
2. opposition to the belief that there should no longer be an official church in a country
One of the longest words in the English language has a history to it, but the Antidisestablishmentarians took the idea further by literally being against whatever was in their lives at the time. On paper, being rock n' roll rebels is a great selling point for a band, but not to this level. The Suffolk-based (not that they would agree with you about that) band were the bane of their record company's existence with every album, song, tour... but they still sold well enough to be tolerated, until they were against the conforming structure of music itself.
Funnily enough, the band has recently reformed with the belief that they are against not making money for their children's college funds. The "Against Everything Except Making A Little Moolah" Tour begins in early 2017.
