​Faux Rawk Records was founded in 2015 by Evan Davis and Marcus Ritchie after a mutual hobby of coming up with potentially great-yet-unused rock band names. Another realization was that this was an untapped market in rock merchandise - fake bands.

​Yes, there are some downsides, like no actual musical output or actual people producing said output… Minor details. What is lost is gained elsewhere like great merchandise and the knowledge that you are one of the few to be supporting that band - either you came in on the ground floor before they got big or you’re a diehard fan of that brilliant-yet-underappreciated cult fave. Whatever the reason, you’re free to become the music snob you used to or always wanted to be.

So take a look around… there’s a band for everyone. From southern blues rock to electronic dance music, from moody indie pop to death metal. Each has a fascinating story to tell, and a sweet t-shirt or two to buy.
