The 'Six-Six-Six' EP got them a record deal, 'Tattered Libido' earned them opening spots on some major tours. But it was Vön Öy's 'Stiletto Nights' that helped the band achieve headliner status.
"We wanted to capture the decadent excess and the excessive decadence that is the Sunset Strip in Los Angeles," explains lead guitarist Ivana Rökk. "The Jack Daniels-soaked floors of The Whisky a Go Go, the backstage bacchanalia at The Viper Room, the to-die-for Eggplant Parmigiana at Rainbow Bar & Grill... the album puts you right there."
The tour was a dead-on reproduction of L.A.'s Sunset Strip, but not without its issues, according to Ivana. "We wanted a modified t-shirt cannon to shoot Eggplant Parmigiana sandwiches into the crowd, but the dude we hired to make this happen misheard us and customized it to shoot eggplant - just the vegetable! Let's just say we're still settling out of court over this misunderstanding."
