What began as a beers-after-a-gig debate over music has turned into a supergroup that has flipped the industry on its head. Whilst on a co-headlining 2018 European tour, members of Brainhammer and EIN ZWEI DREI had nightly aftershow get togethers. In amongst the binge drinking and philosophizing, epic jam sessions would arise. Organic in nature, but unintentedly serious and passionate, an all-star side project rose came to fruition.
"We go into it about if David Hasselhoff is big in Germany because he's a true artist or not..." Davy Robbins divulges, "and the line was drawn right down the middle between EIN members with Hans Mäch and us Brainhammers! I said Germans were just supporting the 'Hoff just because he's part-German, and the EIN guys took it as me saying they had bad taste in music. A full-on, Guy Ritchie-level brawl broke out which could've ended things between us blokes."
"But all of a sudden," Davy continues, "ZWEI547262 puts on Hasselhoff's "It's A Real Good Feeling", and we all stopped in our tracks and started singing, dancing and hugging each other. The 'Hoff brought us together and cemented our friendship. We knew right then we had to commemorate this bond we had by creating some kick-arse music together!"
What about a Hasselhoff collaboration in the future? Davy sighs and responds with, "two words: Kein Kommentar."
